  • They Can Sugar Coat it All They want, It's Still a Scam
A lot of the recent so called opportunities out there in my eyes are just chain letter scams of the 21st century. They may say you are getting all this so called product but you have to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges. I can say my house is worth over a million dollars but if all the houses in my neighborhood are only selling for one hundred thousand dollars I can say my house is worth a lot more all I want but the reality is it is only worth a lot less.
  • EveryBody Is Always Looking For The Shortest Way To Get Rich Quick
There are very few shortcuts that might work. For the most part the reason so many fail is because they are looking for the dream, the get rich quick scheme that will require very little work on their part. Because of everybody looking for this there are so many scams out there. They will say something like this 'We will Do all The Work for you", Yeah right, if they are doing all the work then why do they even need you.
  • The Biggest Killer of Our Times, Assuming Things
Companies throughout the world assume that thier corporate policies are written in stone someplace and that everybody know what these are. This is not just companies that do this but people everywhere. I still remember this one episode in this old TV series "The Odd Couple". Felix, in court says "when you Assume you make an Ass out of U and Me".
  • The Streets of Sites Like MySpace

  • Every Business Needs One of These
I work for a company remotely and they have a web site but if anything it is based on the technology of maybe Web 0.5. None of the employees have any way to interact and to compare notes on what in the job works best for them. I have suggested they create a forum but I am told that it is not in the future of the company. The reason a site like MySpace does so well is because they endorse interaction with its members.
  • Creating Your Own Software
Have you ever been working in a particular application and say to yourself “I wish this software could do this or that?”
  • So You Want The Best Blog For Your Site
Several years ago when I first wanted my own blog I first started with Googles Blogger. I figured that since it would be hosted on Google that it would be noticed faster than using another service. After about 6 months I noticed this was not getting noticed like I had wanted so then I hosted it on my own server and started modifying the theme. Being color blind a lot of visitors would tell me how awful the color scheme I had chosen was and there were not any themes I could install and use.
  • Gatting Past the Gatekeeper
These days when making a cold call it is important now more than ever before to make yourself different from the pack.. When you apply for a job that is advertised in the paper your app. will be amongst a thousand others. The same goes when you are calling a business, unless you leave a totally unique message for the person you are trying to talk to you will never hear from them.
  • You Need to Become Known as an Expert First
You know everything there is about a subject and create a great ebook but unless you have thousands of people that know your are an expert in this subject then your sales will be almost non- existent until you get a following.
  • Do You Actually Ever Get Anything From This
I just received another one in my inbox today. The link in the email when clicked takes you to a site with a picture of some guy standing in front of a nice house with a great car and you hear this audio of him saying how much money you will make with his program and why this works and the others don't.
  • Creating A Buzz On A Budget
When starting a new business most people are trying not to overspend. So one of the places they cut back on is in advertising which is actually very important when starting a new venture. We all can't afford a 30 second spot during the super Bowl but there are a lot of things that we can do that won't cost us a lot.
  • Why Businesses Today Fail - Part 1 Customer Service
The only way a business in our current century will ever last is if they put the customer as their number one goal. Each year there are so amby new business popping up and most people wonder why over 95% of them will not make it past their first year. Originally I was just going to write a one page summary of what a business needs in order to survive but there is no way I can sum all of this up in only one page.
