Megan Denise Fox, (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress and model.

Megan was born in Rockwood, Tennessee, and has Irish, French, and Native American ancestry. She grew up in a "very poor" household and has one older sister.

At the young age of 5, she began taking drama and dance. When she turned 10, her family moved to Florida where Megan continued her training and finished school. By age 13, Megans's talent for dance created new opportunities for her in the modeling world. She began acting and modeling upon winning several awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With these new awards, Megan started seeking a future acting career and moved to Los Angeles to help pursue this dream.

In 2001, Megan made her film debut in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen film "Holiday in the Sun" and in 2004, she co-starred with Lindsay Lohan in Walt Disney's "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen". She also was female lead in the Michael Bay-helmed movie Transformers in 2007.

Megan has appeared in a five page spread for the November 2005 issue of the popular men's magazine FHM. She also posed for the March 2007 issue of FHM, the June 2007 issue of GQ, the July 2007 issue of Maxim, and the September 2007 issue of Arena. She was voted the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM magazine in 2008, beating out Jessica Biel and Jessica Alba.

As of 2007, Megan Fox has been engaged to an American actor Brian Austin Green and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
