How to make money on Ebay? I think a lot of people have asked themselves that question at some point. But I also think that most of those people haven’t looked any further into it. Ebay still has tonnes of opportunity for the budding entrepreneur, its just that the majority of people either think that the hype is over or they just haven’t been bothered to take there interest any further. I hope that if your reading this, that’s not you! You want to know how to make some extra cash with online auctions, right? Brilliant, but for most people out there the biggest part is knowing where to begin. There’s so many guides on the Internet and it’s very easy to get lost and confused. So where should you begin if your looking to make some cash on Ebay? Firstly, you need to do lots of research. The beginning part of any business, online or not is research, research, research. You need to find a niche, an area of interest or somewhere that you know you can profit. In my opinion the best way to do this is to start with the things that interest you - like your expertise or hobbies. If you’re working with something that you enjoy, your more likely to be successful, right? You should spend time looking though Ebay, get yourself familiar with products and prices in a specific niche and find an area that you think you would be most successful selling in. Once you’ve found that area, you need to find a decent product source. The best place, in my opinion for beginners to start is with drop shipping. With drop shipping there’s no products to be kept on your behalf and so you don’t have to worry about postage. Drop shipping companies keep the stock for you (which you list on ebay for a little bit more than your paying for them) and then when you make a sale, they send them off for you.
