There is plenty of controversy over the issue of vending machines being allowed in schools. With so many people in our society being overweight, especially children, things like this are coming under close scrutiny. If you pick up your children from school then you have definitely seen the lines of children getting sodas and snacks before they head home. In many instances their parents don't even know that this is taking place.

They many want to steer clear of unhealthy choices so that students will be encouraged to make a better selection. This means you will want to offer water and juice instead of soda. Think of healthy snacks that offer kids energy instead of sugar.

Too many vending machine owners are very afraid this scenario is going to ruin their business. In most cases though it won't because you are going to find schools have plenty of hungry students. Athletes often need extra food to get them through the day and everyone is too rushed to eat in the morning sometimes.

You may find it is easier to persuade a school to allow you to place vending machines in the schools if you are able to offer healthy snacks. They definitely don't want to deal with any problems from teachers or parents over what students have access to. Make sure your sales pitch includes how offering such healthy foods and drinks for students will help them focus on their studies instead of on their hunger.
