Introducing the Epson 11880 Media Barcode Analysis

By: nfriend21

The Epson Stylus Pro 11880 includes an Automatic Media Barcode Tracking and Identification System that provides huge benefits and removes annoying road blocks from the media-tracking process. When implemented, the automatic media barcode tracking and identification system will automatically analyze
record what media is loaded, and the amount of media left on the roll. When a moderately finished roll is taken out, the printer will automatically print a small barcode on the edge of the media that will identify the media as it is reinserted.

In a nut shell, the Epson 11880 with automatic media barcode tracking and identification technology will automatically track media type, remaining length and media width. All this data is transferred within barcode and printed at edge of the roll before it is unloaded. The efficient reloading of incomplete media rolls effectively reduces problems. This innovationpromises no more running out of paper partially through a n extended print job. Automatic media barcode tracking also assists in comfortably identifying media types versus guessing.

In addition to the media barcode technology, the Epson Stylus Pro 11880 features 16-bit printer drivers that allow the Stylus Pro printers the ability to operate in a n entirely 16-bit workflow on either Apple Macintosh OS X and Windows XP/Vista operating systems. This highly precise driver technology transcends previous driver road blocks and enables remarkably precise transitions and ranges in the final prints. The Epson 11880 brand ports contain one high-performance USB 2.0 and one Gigabit Ethernet Port. These efficient Epson drivers can be used with Macintosh or Windows.
