How to Benefit from an Aromatherapy Skin Care Product

By: Darrin Reservitz

Interested in aromatherapy? Then consider lavender oil, made from the lavender plant, as a beneficial aromatherapy skin care product.

Lavender oil can reinvigorate you by reducing tension and depressive thoughts through various methods of application. For starters, you can either place some lavender oil in a burner or on a tissue at night so that its beneficial fumes caress your body as you sleep.

For Use as Aromatherapy Bath Oil

As opposed to a good number of essential oils, you can put lavender oil directly on your skin as an aromatherapy skin care product as it won’t distress your skin. For example, place it in a warm bath as aromatherapy bath oil and your skin will directly absorb it while you breathe it in as steam.

A Salve for Burns: Lavender Oil as Aromatherapy Body Lotion

Keep some lavender oil in the medicine cabinet as a burn aromatherapy skin care product. It not only can reduce burn pain, but also facilitate healing.

If you tend to burn yourself while cooking, for example, just apply a small amount of lavender oil, and bandage it up. You’ll soon feel the pain dissipate. But remember – there is no substitute for a doctor when burned. So make sure to see one if, in your judgment, it’s necessary.

The chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse burned his hand in 1910. Lavender oil was close by so he, in a panic, applied it to his hand. The pain quieted and the wound healed quickly.

So consider lavender oil for use as an aromatherapy body lotion or aromatherapy bath oil. You can quickly find a supplier online.
