Here are the recomended ranges for your water chemistry. pH 7.4-7.6 total allcalinity 80-120 ppm calcium hardness 150-250 ppm bromine residual 2-3ppm total dissolved solids below 1500ppm 7, If you use a bromine feeder and it requires holes. You will want to put a hole on the top and bottom of the feeder. After this is done put the feeder in the water in hot tub. Then check water chemistry after two days. The bromine level should be at 2-3 ppm. If it is not at this level. You need to add another hole in the bottom. Then check again in two days. 8. The final step in the process is to keep the inside of the hot tub clean. After you use it for about three months. You will want to drain and clean it. When doing this do not use any harsh cleaners. Only use a mild soap.
