Front Sight has a Big Issue with Gun Control

By: Jayden Adams

Gun control has always been an important issue with Americans, but thanks to Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, gun control has taken first position in discussions, debates and importance for all of America. It's not very surprising that Ignatius Piazza, the founder and director of the nation's largest gun training school, Front Sight, is completely opposed to gun control, but Ignatius takes the argument further than where most gun control opponents take it: to the realm of logic. Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza stand firmly on the side of reason in saying that gun control could never have any hope in preventing gun deaths or homicide - only gun training can. Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza say that firearms training is the only thing in all of America that could possibly stop American criminals from killing American citizens. And no, not gun training for the criminals - firearms training for the citizens.

Gun training for citizens -- what a novel idea! Actually, no. Firearms training has always been a very important aspect of American life, in fact, there are many who argue that without the secret, intense gun training that minute men did on their own time in groups and packs around the colonies in the early 1770's, America would never have come to be. Firearms training was assuredly more difficult then - firearms were bulky muskets that didn't always even shoot straight, so gun training was absolutely vital and very normal.

Today, firearms training seems to be a bit of a four-letter word in America. For some reason, American citizens have the pre-conceived notion that only yahoos and rednecks get gun training - but such is not the case. Lawyers, doctors, dentists, garbage men, consultants, web developers, writers, you name it! get firearms training because they realize what Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight have been saying for years (which is really just plain common sense): when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight ask, what's the best way to defend yourself against someone who's got a pistol? The answer isn't just to have a pistol of your own, the answer is to have a pistol of your own and know how to use it. Firearms training and subsequently gun ownership is the only way to prevent gun deaths and homicides. Americans need to understand that gun training will keep them safe, despite the arguments that gun control advocates make the contrary.

But gun control advocates don't argue against gun training, they simply argue against guns. The fact of the matter is that guns are not dangerous, they're very, very effective tools, and as soon as someone gets gun training, they are infinitely more capable of handling dangerous situations, especially those involving firearms.

Firearms training is the way to pull this nation out of the rut of violent murders it's in. School shootings, violent murder, gun deaths, gangland shootings can all be cut down or eliminated if Americans would wake up and get gun training. Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza are waiting.
