Business Outsoucing

By: Ken Ragpala

Being able to stay on top of the things in the corporate world just keeps getting harder and harder each time. Corporate management, for one, is now one of the things any business leader finds so hard to keep under control. But in this modern time when communications has bridged continents and people can now make a simple conversation despite their geographical location, business outsourcing has finally found itself wanted and needed.
Many stellar companies in the United States, mostly in the fields of communications, healthcare, customer services, information technology, commerce and banking, and tourism, among others, have tapped the pool of executives and professionals that can act more than a company’s front liners. These people represent the company. In simple terms, they are the company. A lawyer from India may be designated as a corporation’s legal assistant, or a techie from the Philippines may be a customer service agent. Whatever their roles may be, they act n behalf of the corporation they are working for. Their employment is a clear indication that the global market is now within completion.
Other outsourcing positions such manager supervisor coordinator assistant and administrative assistant customer service are serious roles in the corporate world. These are not mere positions to be toyed with. Positions like these require professionals that have undergone adequate training to prepare them for the heavy responsibilities ahead.
There are a lot of issues concerning the hiring of non-Americans to service American clients; mostly it has to do with the language, accent, and grammar usage. But this is overshadowed by the fact that the outsourcing business has gained prominence as well as monetary gains in the corporate world. Besides, with globalization in full swing, the language barrier is almost, if not already, broken.
However one looks at the big picture, business outsourcing is a serious business strategy. It’s just a matter of getting the right people for the job.
