Earnings Of A Video Game Tester ----------- There is no set amount that you'll begin making when you begin professionally testing games for money. Wages vary from company to company, so it's hard to give an exact figure on how much a video game beta tester can or will be paid. With that being said, don't fully believe advertisements that say game testers are paid $100+ per hour. Even though it's not technically a lie, it's not really truth either -- Game tester wages can be quite high, just not that high. At a mind blowing rate of $120 an hour, a professional game tester could earn $600 per day just working a minuscule 5 hours. Honestly, you would have a tough time finding a professional beta tester that gets paid even half that sum for an entire days work. Average Earnings: Weekly wages of a game tester can range between a relatively low $300 to an exceptional $2,000 or more. Monthly salary of a tester can be anywhere from $1500 to an outrageous $9000. Annual earnings can be between a basic $23,000 and a tremendous $100,000 or more!
