The Dark Knight has really sprung up a whole new lot of Batman fans ever since its release date was announced.

Also known by the name of the caped crusader, the superhero makes use of special detective skills, incredible technology and science, physical prowess and a complete dominance against his war against crime.

For his conception of the film, Nolan was inspired by the Joker's first two appearances in the comics and Batman: The Long Halloween. The Dark Knight has been shot in locations primarily located in Chicago where the Batman Begins was also shot and in many other locations, including areas like the United Kingdom, Hong Kong and the United States.
