Alfa Romeo And Its Market Share

By: Anthony Fontanelle

Would you ever believe that car brand Alfa Romeo is losing money?

Most people would not believe that fact either. That could be because we do know that the Alfa Romeo is a brand that has quite a good range of stylish and fast vehicles. But the brand’s statistics have shown that when you have vehicles with speed and a good design in your range, it still does not necessarily equate to a huge market share.

An analyst with J.D. Power and Associates, Jonathan Pusket, has taken a look at Alfa Romeo’s situation. According to him, “While it tries to pitch itself as a premium brand, it doesn’t quite make it.” The analyst continued to disclose that one of the possible reasons as per why Alfa Romeo is in such a situation is because the brand has been having auto parts that are of poor quality in their vehicles and that would be despite the fact that the auto industry has known the brand to be the creator of race cars.

Alfa Romeo has been acquired by Fiat back in 1986 and Fiat’s head executive, Sergio Marchionne, had informed the auto public a year ago that the mentioned brand “is the hardest asset that we have that we have to work (on)”. But that would not stop Fiat from working on the Alfa Romeo so as to make it rise to the top, reported Reuters.

Right now, Fiat has hired Luca De Meo and this person is young at his 40 years. He is the youngest in his group of executives and he is dead set on making sure that the company focuses on what they could do so as to have the Alfa Romeo bring in more sales for the Fiat Group. It would really be worth looking at home Fiat would be able to work on the brand that makes Alfa Romeo TZ 2 parts reach success the way the former sees it.

The Alfa Romeo brand traces its roots back to Italy where it was founded in the year 1910. This brand was first known as ALFA and that stood for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili which when translated to English means “Lombard Automobile Factory, Public Company”.
