“Be Informed – Not Beware.”

Over the years, I have had the privilege of talking with thousands of homeowners -- young and old, first-time home buyers and seasoned homeowners alike -- well over 75% of whom had the same terrible thing happen to them. They were taken advantage of by brokers and lenders who didn’t care about them and simply used and abused them like an ordinary commodity. Companies pushed huge profits over ethics, following rules of law and decency and doing what is best for homeowners and home buyers. Certainly, I am in this business to make my living but not at the expense of misleading, gouging, cheating, even lying and harming people who need my services. My hardest competition is not other good companies that do what I do but those many companies using double-talk and evasive answers along with their lies to con people into taking their loans. I am saddened in the knowledge of the vast number of people who were pushed into nightmarish loans. More paperwork and regulations will not do any good as long as people are baited and reeled in by verbal statements having no link to reality -- statements that do not actually clearly explain, or simply, quickly and quietly dismiss the pitfalls of the loan being pushed. I explain everything having to do with the entire loan and loan process. You get what you see, can verify what you hear and understand, not what you have been led to believe you were getting and didn’t get.
